(PLTM) - Young sailors of the British Virgin Islands represented the Territory well this past weekend, September 17th-18th at the 2016 edition of the Back to School Regatta, presented by the Cedar International School.
The BVI sailors copped a total of five victories out of the seven divisions of the competition that was held at Nanny Cay.
The competition, which hosted competitors from Antigua, Puerto Rico and the USVI, saw a total registration of 45 entries, with 24 of them boasting representation for the BVI.
Overall, the competition was won by Mia Nicolosi of St. Thomas, for the second consecutive time, while Rayne Duff and Nathan Haycraft of the BVI tied for second place.
Other winners from the BVI were Colin Rathbun, Jerome Parkins, Samuel Allen and Ryan Lettsome.
