“We are happy that we have reached this point and with just a few tickets remaining, anyone can win this beautiful vehicle. The support from the community has been encouraging and we thank the many well-wishers, especially those who have purchased tickets. Cedar International School, a non-profit private school, currently awards $246,000 in scholarship funding, part of $750,000 in financial aid that is provided annually to increase access to Cedar’s programmes for those families who are less able to afford tuition fees. The majority of the scholarship funding is raised from corporate donors and fundraising initiatives like the grand raffle. The rest is an unfunded discount provided by Cedar based on need.

The scholarship programme has grown steadily since its inception in 2013. There are currently 18 scholarship students and a further 50 receiving some financial aid. Overall this represents 27% of the student body at Cedar.

Raffle tickets cost $50 each and are available from Captain Mulligans, NAGICO Insurance, Tortola Auto Group (TAG), Cedar International School and Tortola Sports Club.

Just 1000 tickets were made available, giving a 1/1000 chance of winning.
