(PLTM) - Customers of the National Bank of the Virgin Islands (NBVI) now have a simpler and smarter way to manage their accounts through online banking, a new service recently launched by the establishment. The new online banking platform allows NBVI’s customers quick and easy access to their accounts, with the ability to view account and loan balances, and also to transfer funds between NBVI accounts. According to Ms. Joy Francis, CEO of NBVI, the platform is an important undertaking by the bank as they continue to fulfill their commitment to providing customers with a more modern banking experience. “This is part of our strategic plan to ensure that we are growing along with the people of the Virgin Islands, so we are extremely excited to launch this phase of our online banking service.” To access the online banking service, customers are invited to visit the branch to update and verify their accounts. Once this is completed, NBVI’s clients will be able to utilise the service by simply going to the bank’s new website, www.nationalbank.vg The website also provides visitors with information about the bank, such as its history, organizational structure, shareholder and community relations, new deposit suite and other service offerings.
