(PLTM) - A woman was attacked by a male, while walking on the public road in the wee hours of Tuesday October 25th, 2016.

Police have stated that, they received a report on the date in question, of a woman being attacked by an unknown male during the early morning hours, while walking in the Huntums Ghut area.

According to police, nothing was reportedly taken from the victim however, she sustained minor scratches.

The attacker is said to be tall and slim built.

Police are conducting further investigation with a view to identifying the perpetrator.
