(PLTM) - One Love Football Club got on early Christmas gift, securing a double digit win of 10 nil over VG United during last weekend's games of the National Men’s Football League, made possible by the BVI Football Association.
Gift wrapped and hand delivered in the 9th minute, Trevor Ellis opened the scoring. Other goals came from Carl Stewart, Damien Morgan, Oshane Rose, Richard Morgan and Andre Thomas.
The weekend also saw Sugar Boys defeating Rebels with a 5-1 win.
Scoring began in the 4th minute by Derol Redhead of Sugar Boys, followed by Rebels’ Micheal Baptichon tying the score with a penalty goal in the 11th minute.
Redhead scored again just a minute later followed by Mohamed Kaschour in the 17th minute, taking Sugar Boys to 3-1.
Terrance Nanton increased the lead with a goal in the 79th minute and Akeem Hendrikson rounded out the 5-1 win with a goal in the 84th.
This win cemented Sugar Boys in second place in the standings.
