Update: Three At Large In Supermarket Robbery

(PLTM) - Police have disclosed that a total of three males were behind the robbery of Rite Breeze last evening, November 24.

In a release disseminated by the force, the assailants, all dressed in dark clothing and wearing black masks, robbed the establishment of an undisclosed amount of cash.

Allegedly, one pointed a firearm at the security officer, while the other two entered the supermarket and demanded cash from the cash registers and the safe.

The three were observed fleeing the scene in the direction of the marina, adjacent the supermarket.

No one was injured in the incident.

The assailants were described to be between 5’10 and 5”11 and slim built.

Police are appealing to the public for information that could help with inquiries into this incident. Persons can contact CID through the RVIPF 311 or the Intelligence Unit at 368-9339. Persons can also report the information anonymously to Crime Stoppers through its Miami-based hotline number 800-TIPS (8477).

Riteway's East End supermarket was robbed last evening, November 24, by masked assailants, who were armed.

Information reaching BVI Platinum News is that the men made away with cash from the establishment's registers and safe.
