Anegada is buzzing as the star of the culiniary world this weekend, as lobster takes center plate at the annual two-day Lobster Festival, which started on Saturday with very strong support from residents and visitors.
The event, which concludes today, Sunday, November 27, was launched by the BVI Tourist Board and is geared towards stimulating travel and interest in less traversed islands.
Anegada Lobster Festival is in its fourth year and has grown over the years, and now attracts twice as many guests to the coral island compared to the inaugural year.
(PLTM) - The Tourist Board, together with residents of Anegada, are featuring talented local chefs who are on hand to prepare, cook and serve plated sample lobster dishes at participating Anegada restaurants.
During the two-day event, there are lots of entertainment by Prime Time Sqaud, Hi-Output Band and DJ Richie Rich, among other entertainers.
The event is the culmination of BVI Food Fete 2016.
