VG Accident Claims Two Lives

(PLTM) - Police on the sister island of Virgin Gorda (VG) are investigating an accident that left two men dead late last evening, November 28, 2016.

According to information, the fatal crash occurred in the area of Savannah Bay when the vehicle the men were in skid off the road.

Police stated that initial inquiries indicate the two men were travelling from the Valley to North Sound when the accident occurred. The vehicle was found approximately 150 feet down hill of the cliff which overlooks the Savannah Bay beach.

The bodies of the two were found inside the vehicle.

The two men are said to be natives of Guyana and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. BVI Platinum News can confirm that one of the victims is Dexter Cottoy of Guyana.
