(PLTM) - Students of the Eslyn Henley Richiez Learning Centre shared the spirit of the holidays at the school’s recently held Christmas concert at the Althea Scatliffe Primary School Auditorium.

The concert titled, “Christmas Celebrations: A Caribbean Parade,” had various acts including dramatic performances and a parade where students, staff and parents danced around the audience singing, "How will Santa get here?" and "Don’t give me no cold Christmas’.

Speaking through the Education Ministry, Principal of the school, Vansittart Huggins said that the staff and students look forward to the event every year.

"It was an opportunity for the students to showcase their talents in arts and crafts, song and drama. The students really enjoyed themselves," she said.

Students gave their parents handmade gift bags and distributed sweet treats to the audience.

The concert ended with a composition written and sung by the students and staff.
