Woman Bites Lover On Nose

(PLTM) - Leroy Thomas suffered a beating and an injured nose, after he allegedly burnt the mother of his two children with a pot cover.

During an appearance at the Magistrate’s Court today, December 9, the accused, Latisha Sebastian who is charged with Common Assault, pleaded guilty to the offence and noted that her actions were a reaction to Mr. Thomas burning her with the hot pot cover.

Prosecutor O’Neil Simpson, said that on April 19, of this year around 5:00 am at the couple’s home, Ms. Sebastian left the kitchen with a hot pot cover, and entered the bedroom where Mr. Thomas was located.

After questioning the accused, an argument ensued and she pointed the pot cover in his face.

According to the Crown, the item slipped and burnt both Mr. Thomas and Ms. Sebastian, which followed by her physically assaulting him and biting him on his nose.

The altercation drew the attention of family members of the victim, who then rushed to stop the assault.

The accused was offered bail in the sum of $20,000, signed surety, in addition to her being enrolled into the love program at Family Support Network.

She will make another appearance on March 3rd 2017.
