(PLTM) - Two junior athletes, Jelani Norman and Arianna Hayde, along with Coach Ericca Frederick, will be representing the British Virgin Islands at the 2016 ANOCES Sports Academy in Grenada.

The Academy will focus on coaching and teaching the fundamentals of the pole vault event, which the BVI Olympic Committee and BVI Athletics Association aim to see introduced as a part of the sport of athletics in the BVI.

According to the committee, the delegates departed the Territory yesterday, December 9th, in route to the Spice Island Grenada until December 18th.

The programme will be conducted by Mr. Jeff Petersmeyer, Director, Cross Country and Track and Field (Jumps and Multi-Event) Coach at San Jose State.
