Woman Steals $1K From Neighbor's Pants

(PLTM) - Rebecca Fonseca pleaded guilty to the offence of theft, after being charged for stealing $1000 from her neighbor’s trousers.

Fonseca made an appearance at the Magistrate's Court last Friday, December 16th.

The particulars of the matter revealed that on April 4th 2016, the accused trespassed on her neighbor’s property in Vanterpool Estate and searched his trousers that was lying outside, while he was inside sleeping.

From the search, the court heard that the accused found $1000 in the pocket of the pants and took it.

Surveillance cameras at the premises caught the accused in action, scavenging the yard, along with searching and removing the item from the pants.

While in court, the accused admitted to taking the money and noted that it was returned following her arrest.

She was offered bail in the sum of $30,000 and will make another appearance on February 6th 2017.
