(PLTM) - The Magistrate’s Court is currently awaiting a mental health report for Walter Springette, in order to proceed with a matter where he is facing several charges, including assault occasioning actual bodily harm. Springette made an appearance at the court earlier this week, when Crown Counsel Angel Flax Solomon informed the court that the report as to the mental health of the accused is still outstanding. Court notes indicate that on March 27, 2015, Springette, of Sea Cows Bay, attacked a man and injured him with stones. At the time of the incident, the man was allegedly jogging near the Ellis Thomas Downs racing track in Sea Cows Bay. Springette is also facing charges of throwing missiles, criminal damage and criminal trespassing. He will make another appearance on February 17, 2017.
