(PLTM) - Police have confirmed that they are conducting investigations into a shooting which occurred during a robbery at Fahie Boy Bar in Long Look on the night of January 6.
"During the robbery, one man was shot and hospitalised. This man has since died."
Dead is Frankie Fahie.
The Coroner’s Office has been informed and a Family Liaison Officer has been assigned.
The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force is asking anyone with information into this matter to contact the Special Investigations Unit at 368-5682.
Persons can also contact the Intelligence Unit at 368-9339 or report the information requested anonymously to Crimestoppers through its Miami-based hotline number 800-TIPS (8477).

A man was shot and killed during a reported robbery late Friday evening, January 6, 2017. Dead is Frankie Fahie of Zion Hill.
According to information, the incident occurred at a bar in Vanterpool Estate, Long Look.
The victim was rushed to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

In early December, a businessman was shot and injured during an attempted robbery in the Vanterpool Estate area.
Also, on January 4, a man was robbed by a masked male person in his home at Carrot Bay.
