(PLTM) - Charlie Potgeiter of team Montessori is now on to his 21st goal in the BDO Primary School League, following his team’s most recent 4 nil win against Agape Academy in the under 7 division.

Charlie also secured goals in a previous game against First Impressions, which saw the team walking away with a 6-2 win. Other goals to cement their win came from Lochlan Geyser and Josh Fudge.

In the under 9 grouping, section A, the top four teams---Cedar Green, First Impressions, Joyce Samuel and Alexandrina Maduro are significantly clear of the rest teams in the group, holding tight their spots to move on to the playoffs.

In light of games played throughout the course of last week, January 16-21, Joyce Samuel recorded back to back wins against Alexandrina Maduro, 2-1 and Althea Scatliffe Red, 1 nil.

The junior team from Robinson O’Neal Primary is still on top of the charts in Group B with 15 points, despite a recent 3 nil defeat by Cedar White. Cedar White also went on to beat Althea Scatliffe Primary, 5 nil, with goals coming from Freddie Rawlins (2), Micheal Davies (2) and Sam Hunt.

Althea Scatliffe Primary is in second place with a total of 10 points.

In the under 12 action, Cedar Green is in the top spot with, holding 27 points from 9 games, including their latest wins, 2 nil against Althea Scatliffe Primary and 5 nil against Joyce Samuel Primary.

Althea Scatliffe currently stands in second with 22 points, having also won their last two games, 2 nil against Seventh Day Adventist and another 2 nil against Alexandrina Maduro.

Begrado Flax is third with 18 points and Alexandrina Maduro fourth after bouncing back from a defeat by Althea Scatliffe, and with a 0-0 draw against Robinson O’Neal.

Cedar White and St. Georges are just outside the top four, with St. Georges recently securing a 2-1 win against Leonora Delville Primary after Xiiomar Gunn netted a late winner following an opener from Jefferson Frank.
