(PLTM) - Clifton Scatliffe, 53, of Long Trench, was fined a whopping $5000 after he breached a protection order which instructed him to he stay away from his sister.

If he does not pay the fine by March 8th, he will serve 6 months in prison.

Following the sentence, handed down by Senior Magistrate Tamia Richards, she advised the accused to be wise in the future, as another appearance would cost him $10,000 or 1 year in prison.

“If you stupid, come back; if you have sense, don’t come back. Don’t interfere with your sister. You not a spring chicken any more. You’re of age; you’re a grown man.”

The court heard that on January 19, Scatliffe breached the order by visiting his sister’s residence and made threats against her.

In an earlier appearance, Scatliffe's attorney, Ruthilia Maximea informed the court that he breached the order because he wanted to feed his animals.
