(PLTM) - Melicia Bodkin, 28, was sentenced to pay a total of $6,500 in fines and compensation in relation to two separate counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. Bodkin was sentenced earlier this week when she made an appearance before Magistrate Ayanna Baptiste-Dabreo. In relation to the May 2013 incident where the accused allegedly attacked an off duty police officer at a night club in Road Town, the court ordered that she pays a total of $2,000 for the charge and a compensation fee of $1,000 to the officer. She has until May 30 to pay this fine. In a separate matter where Bodkin allegedly attacked a handyman on the public road in September 2013, she was also fined another $2,000 for the charge, along with a compensation fine of $1,500. She has until September 30 to pay this fine. She is scheduled to make another appearance at the Magistrate’s Court on June 2 for the first matter and October 6 for the second.
