Struiken Wins 5K Series

(PLTM) - In his first attempt of the event, Clif Struiken dominated this year’s Blenheim Trust 5K Series tour, hosted last weekend, March 25 in Carrot Bay.
Struiken’s win ended the three year streak of veteran Reuben Stoby, who was overtaken in the last 800 meters of the race.
Struiken clocked in his win at 18 minutes and 17 seconds.
In second place, Stoby clocked a time of 18:22.5s, while Julias Farley came in third at 18:44.4s.
The race saw approximately 92 runners journeying to and from the Carrot Bay Cultural Fiesta Village, out past Bomba Shack.
