(PLTM) - Twenty tennis players competed for the 2017 Tortola Sports Club Men’s Doubles Championship over the weekend.
The games started with round-robin matches in two groups of five teams each, followed by semi-finals contested by the top two teams from each group.
According to TSC, in the first semi-final, Dion Anselm and Bhuddy Salvadore overcame a strong challenge from Chris and Mark Smith, whilst the other semi-final saw Mark McDonald and Paul Oliver emerge victorious over Patrick Ormond and Marvin Hazel.
The subsequent final was a fast-paced, hard-hitting match showcasing a high standard of play, which entertained the many spectators and saw Mark and Paul wining 6-2 over Dion and Bhuddy.
