Elinah Phillip To Compete In Bahamas

The British Virgin Islands Swimming Federation has selected Elinah Phillip to represent the BVI at the CARIFTA Swimming Championships in Nassau, Bahamas from April 15 - 19.

The BVI will feature among athletes from 26 different countries at the 32nd edition of the event.

The federation disclosed that at these championships, Elinah is scheduled to swim 3 events---the 50 butterfly, 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle.

Elinah was most recently the 3rd fastest female sprinter from the Caribbean region at last summer's Rio Olympic Games at 16 years of age.
