(PLTM) - An attempted break-in at Delta Gas Station in Pasea Estate, early this morning, July 11, was hampered by what appeared to be a gun malfunction.

Video footage from surveillance cameras at the service station is currently circulating around the Territory, and apparently shows two men in their attempt to rob the store, which was closed at the time.

The attempt took place around 2:00 am.

As seen in the video, the men approached the station’s store and checked the doors to see if they were properly locked.

Standing directly in front the entrance to the store, one of the men raised what appeared to be a gun, and attempted to fire at the doors. No shots were fired.

Both men were then seen fumbling with the item, as nothing had happened after several attempts.

The men then fled the scene.

The men, who wore masks, were also dressed in black shirts, with one wearing a black pants and the other in a khaki colored pants,

Delta was victim of a robbery some months ago, in December 2016, when gunmen shot down their doors and stole an undisclosed amount.
