(PLTM) - The Carrot Bay Cultural Fiesta has updated their festival lineup, by including the Jamaican reggae sensation, Bounty Killer, and rising dancehall star, Jahmiel.
In a press release disseminated today, July 14, chair of the sub-committee, Judy-Ann Smith disclosed the new additions to complete the lineup of performances, for the two day Cultural Fiesta, August 10 and 11.
According to a set performance schedule, disclosed by the committee, the shows will kick off with OMG Band, followed by T-Vice, the most popular Haitian Band in the region. They will also share the stage with Zouk band Triple Kay out of Dominica, and Stylee Band from St. Croix.
The second show and final event to close out the Cultural Fiesta, will see performances from the Show Time Band, followed by Skinny Fabulous out of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Patrice Roberts out of Trinidad will take the stage right after, to deliver an expected high energy performance.
Bounty Killer and Jahmiel will then hit the stage, just before the reigning Road march champions VIBE bring down the curtains.
The committee first gave a snippet of their acts at an official lineup launch by the Virgin Islands Festivals and Fairs Committee on July 4.
This year’s festival will be held under the theme, ‘A Colorful Kaleidoscope To Be Seen, Creating A Cultural Scene For Festival 2017’.
