Man Injured In Huntums Ghut Shooting

(PLTM) - Police have stated that officers responded to a report of shots fired in the Huntums Ghut area on Saturday, 4th November around 9:38 pm.

Initial investigation revealed that a patron at Maria's Bar in Huntums Ghut was shot and transported to Peebles Hospital.

According to police, at the hospital officers were informed that the injured male is in stable condition and will remain hospitalized for treatment.

Police are asking persons who were at the bar or in the immediate area and saw something that will progress the investigation to contact the Intelligence Unit at 368-9339.

Investigation continues.
