Update: Man Nursing Injury Following Shooting

(PLTM) - Police have confirmed that the man who was shot in a Road Town community this morning, December 11, sustained a leg injury and remains at Peebles Hospital.

Information reaching our news team is that the shooting happened in the vicinity of Crab Lot, also knows as the Ghetto.

The victim was reportedly pounced upon and shot in the leg by the attacker.

A statement from the police communications unit said, “No arrests have been made so far. We cannot confirm the place or time of shooting incident at this time. Information from the public is welcomed as investigations continue.”

BVI Platinum News understands that a male was shot in a Road Town community and rushed to the Peebles Hospital a short while ago.

The hospital is currently on lockdown, which is the usual procedure after receiving victims with gunshot wounds.
