(PLTM) - Residents and staff of the Safe Haven Transitional Centre recently joined the “All Hands” Disaster Relief Organisation and the Miss World Committee, to help clean up the Eslyn Henley Richez Learning Centre.

According to the Ministry of Health and Social Development, the centre, which caters to children who are differently-abled, sustained severe damage during the passage of Hurricanes Irma and Maria in September 2017.

Volunteers assisted with the removal of damaged equipment and debris.

Centre Director, Jacqueline Donovan said initiatives such as the clean-up allows the staff and residents to make a positive contribution to the community.
