Police are asking for the public's assistance in locating Kenroy Davis, who is wanted in connection with a number of burglaries and the theft of a motor vehicle.
According to Police, Davis, 26, was last seen on Wednesday, June 27 driving the stolen vehicle near Scatliffe Alley by officers of the Criminal Investigations Department.
"Upon being approached by officers, he fled. The vehicle, which was left at the scene, was positively identified by its owner who had reported it missing on June 6. It is now in Police custody. Davis is described as 5´7 tall, 130 pounds and is dark in complexion," Police stated.
Davis made the news last year when he pleaded guilty in the High Court for his involvement in a stolen rental vehicle belonging to Hertz Car Rental back in 2009.
In December 2011, he received a two-year suspended sentence for handling stolen goods.
According to Police, anyone who has seen this individual or knows his whereabouts is asked to contact the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force through its three-digit access number 311, or call the RVIPF Intelligence Unit at 468-9339.
Police are reminding the public that it is an offence to harbour or to assist in any manner in harbouring a wanted person.
