Jason Edwin's 34 Points Help Legs Walk All Over Mega Mix

Jason Edwin narrowly missed out on a triple double, finishing with 34 points, 15 rebounds and 9 assists as defending senior division champions, Legs kicked Mega Mix from the unbeaten ranks of the BVI Basketball Federation's summer league during a highly anticipated season game last Saturday, July 7 at the Multipurpose Sports Complex.

Legs improved to 8-0 this season following their 124-111 victory over Mega Mix who slipped to 7-1, but now sit in second place in the division as playoffs near.

Also contributing for Legs were Randy 'Chino' George, who added 24 points and 6 rebounds; Khalid Gerard, 19 points; and Kitwana Rhymer, 18 points and 10 rebounds.

Shamal Caines top scored for Mega Mix with 33 points. Halstead 'JR' Chiverton and Douron Phillip each finished with 18 points and Kelvin Samuel added 16 points for Mega Mix.

Wow! what a game. Congrats Legs, team work was on display throughout the game. We can't wait for the championship games; hope it would be the same teams. It was a great game. Steve played well, Kello as well. JR wasn't too bad but was a loose cannon. If he was more composed in that game they would've had a chance, just too wild, he need to tone down and keep his head in the game.
