Five Competing For Miss EE/LL

Five young ladies will be vying for the title of Miss East End/Long Look 2012 this weekend.
The contestants were showcased at the Prince and Princess Show at the Sir Rupert Briercliffe Hall last evening, July 15.
The contestants are #1-Dwynel Davis; #2-Brittney James; #3-A' Yana Phillips; #4-Sheverne George; and #5-Shanet Brown.
The pageant takes place at the Eileene Parson's Auditorium this Saturday, July 21 at 8:00 pm. It is being held under the theme, 'Caribbean Pearls of the BVI'.
On August 6, the East End/Long Look Committee will open the Moviene Fahie Festiville featuring Spectrum Band and WCK. There will be a number of performances at the village including Xtreme Band, Heritage, Shine-I, soca acts from St. Vincent, St. Lucia, Dominica, Grenada and Trinidad, and Mr. Vegas and his 'Bruk-it-Down' dancers. There will also be the EE/LL Rise and Shine Tramp followed by a parade and village performances by Leon and the Hot Shots, Razor blades, Sweet-ta-band and Pumpa and De Unit.
