Police Incinerate Over $200K Of Cocaine & Cannabis

Armed escort as part of stringent security measures were in place when the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force destroyed seized, illegal drugs valued at over $200,000 at the Pockwood Pond incinerator this morning, August 31.
Senior Magistrate, Valarie Stephens was among persons who witnessed the destruction of over two kilos of cocaine and 5½ thousand grams of cannabis.
According to Detective Chief Inspector of the Special Investigation Unit, Kath Adams, the illegal drugs were seized by the Police, passed through the courts and were ordered destroyed.
