The BVI returned home last week after falling to host Haiti, then to Cayman Islands and the Bahamas.
"It was truly a team effort and as the score reflects, it was an improvement. With every game played the team got better," said head coach Vincent Samuel.
He thanked the British Virgin Island Football Association for giving the young girls an opportunity to show-case their talent.
"The scored are not reflective of the determination that these young footballers showed. We were outclassed in most games and the time has arrived to keep this team together. It is a growing team and I can assure you that this team will do the BVI proud in the near future," Samuel predicted.
He maintained that the scores was not something that the team could be happy about, but said he will confess that there were a lot of positives that could be had.
"I must commend the fighting spirit of each and every individual on the team..Our team is a very young one with an average age of 14 years and playing against their peers 2 years their senior they never backed down from the challenge. This speaks well for the future of the development process of BVI female football," Samuel stated.
