Kelberlin George Spells Her Way to Victory at 5th Annual Adult Spell Off

Kelberlin George emerged champion of the 5th Annual Adult Spell Off Competition held at the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College (HLSCC) last evening, walking away with an impressive package of cash and prizes.

This year’s competition also carried an important community focus, with the Enid Scatliffe Pre-Primary School identified as the beneficiary of the annual event.

George secured the top spot and the $2,000 cash prize, along with round-trip airfare for two to Puerto Rico courtesy of Cape Air, a two-night Airbnb stay at Lambert, a $200 shopping voucher, a $250 voucher from International Motors and a car-care package, as well as the official championship trophy and medal.

Erika Creque placed second, earning $1,000 cash, a half-day sail with SKA Charters, a two-night stay for two at Leverick Bay, a $150 shopping voucher, a 50-inch television and the official second-place medal.

Ayoka Greenaway finished third and received $750 cash, a FlyBVI trip for four to Anegada, an Original Virgin Canopy Tour for four, a $100 shopping voucher, a 60-minute Ixora massage at Scrub Island Spa and the official third-place medal.

All other participants were recognised with $50 shopping vouchers as the fifth staging of the Adult Spell Off combined spirited competition with support for education and the wider community.
