BVI's swimming sensation, Elinah Phillip won a silver medal in the 50m Butterfly at the 2018 Carifta Swimming Championships in Jamaica, in 28.29 seconds.

According to the BVI Swimming Federation, she will now qualify for tonight's 100 freestyle with a time of 59.17 seconds, as the second fastest qualifier.

"Let's support Elinah as she swims for three podium appearances at this year's CARIFTA swimming championships. Go team BVI," the federation stated.
