Residents from across the Territory celebrated and honoured the life of Captain Edwin Allan George, affectionately known as Speedy/Kiddo, yesterday, April 14 on Virgin Gorda (VG).
George, who was in the transportation business since the early 1960s, died on March 28.
A service to honour George was held in The Valley at Speedy's headquarters and the viewing took place at the Methodist Church.
A grand boat parade was also held to honour his legacy. A number of ferries, including from neighboring St. Thomas, USVI were part of the parade.
