Yes, I Said It!
Those of us with British/UK Passports will still have use of them. Whoever applies or is born after independence will not be eligible. Visas depend on agreements between countries. I have no doubt that VI natives will have to apply for Visas to travel to many places, but what good is the VI to us anyway if we can't eat. Financial Services is all we have. Its either give it away, starve, and beg to join the UK so we can live on Benefits - or go independent, keep Financial Services and chart our own destiny. There is no easy answer.

Hmm
It gets taken away simple. The bvi will get a passport that says "virgin islands" only the british part will be removed and our flag will change. We will need visa to go to usvi, usa, pr and europe. All independant caribbean countries need visas to go usa or usvi. Simple. We will be the worst off place in the caribbean then...the smallest country with no resources, bad government.....it would be a royal mess

We don't have UK passports, we have British ones and after Brexit it will be largely the same as before Britain joined the EEC in the 70s. I.e a trusted passport allowing its holder the opportunity to travel to most countries easily. Clubs like the EU never last long-there have been many over the years and they all wither away.

Even after Brexit the UK passport will be a lot better, then the Virgin Islands passport. Lot's of countries will allow you to apply for Visa's online due to agreements they have with the UK.
