(PLTM) - Premier and Minister of Finance, Hon. Dr. D. Orlando Smith, and Opposition Leader, Hon. Andrew Fahie, will be attending a series of meetings in London on the recent decision of the United Kingdom Parliament relating to public registers of beneficial ownership in the Overseas Territories.

Government announced on Saturday, May 12 that Premier Smith will be away from the Territory from Monday, May 14 to Saturday, May 19, 2018.

"The Premier will be joined by Leader of the Opposition, Honourable Andrew Fahie. The Premier and the Leader of the Opposition will be accompanied by the Acting Permanent Secretary in the Premier's Officer, Ms. Dawn Smith," government stated.

In Premier Smith’s absence, Deputy Premier and Minister for Natural Resources and Labour, Hon. Dr Kedrick Pickering will act as Premier.
