(PLTM) - Walter Springette, 32, of Sea Cows Bay, was charged with five burglaries -- four churches and a school.

Springette was charged with illegally entering the St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and its adjacent hall, the Ebenezer Thomas Primary School and also entering the Road Town Methodist Church Office twice, which is presently under renovations, all within the last month.

Additional burglary charges are likely.

Food items, cash and a laptop were taken during the commission of these burglaries.

Springette appeared before the Magistrate’s Court this past Friday and was placed on remand. He is scheduled to reappear in court on 5 July.

Police investigations are ongoing.
