(PLTM) - Norwegian Cruise Lines (NCL) returned to the shores of the BVI with over 3,000 passengers yesterday, Thursday, October 18.
This was after a one-year interruption to its calls following the devastating and deadly hurricane Irma, which ravaged the BVI.
"The Norwegian Getaway brought over 3.5k visitors to our shores and they enjoyed island tours of Tortola, Virgin Gorda and Jost Van Dyke, beach and other excursions," Minister Mark Vanterpool said.
The Minister also presented a plaque to the Captain on behalf of the Premier and people of the BVI, as a token of appreciation and friendship.
In August of this year, Disney Cruise Lines also returned to the shores of the BVI.
