(PLTM) - The Territory now has 61 active COVID-19 cases with one person being hospitalized.

"Vigilance now more than ever. Only 5 of the 61 cases have been identified on entry. All others are within the communities. Please adhere to all safety protocols," Health Minister Hon. Carvin Malone, said as he posted the new statistics on social media this evening, Friday September 24.

Four days ago, on Tuesday September 21, Minister Malone disclosed that there were 30 active COVID-19 cases.

"So we now have 30 active cases, this is down from the 47 that we reported even as late as yesterday. Four of these cases were discovered on the entry protocols for day zero, seven and 14 and the other 26 are cases that exist here in the Territory. So we have to be mindful," he said on Tuesday.

Last weekend the government relaxed the curfew where it is now from 1:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. daily. This Order will end on Sunday, 3rd October 2021.
