(PLTM) - Chief Immigration Officer, Mr. Ian Penn is seeking the public’s assistance to locate Haitian national Ms. Elena Milord who escaped detention between the late hours of Wednesday, May 18 and early Thursday, May 19.

Mr. Penn said Ms. Milord who was detained by the Immigrant Department escaped from detention at Hotel Castle Maria and remains at large.

According to Mr. Penn, the necessary searches are ongoing to locate the detainee and the public is asked to be vigilant as Ms. Milord may present as a male with full facial hair at times.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Ms. Milord are asked please contact the Immigration Department at 468-4705, 468-4717, 468-4715 or 468-4754 or the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force hotline at 311.
