Two officers from the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) are among 35 middle-management supervisors from across the Caribbean to successfully complete a 12-week Staff and Junior Command Course at the National Police College of Jamaica.

According to the RVIPF in a press release, Inspectors Andy Lawrence and Jean Avril participated in the programme alongside officers from the Jamaica Constabulary Force and the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force.

Held under the theme, “Leadership with Heart: Driving Positive Change,” the course focused on strengthening leadership abilities, enhancing strategic decision-making and supporting professional development among supervisory officers across the region.

The intensive programme aimed to equip participants with the leadership skills, knowledge and strategic mindset needed to improve policing efforts and better serve their organisations and communities.

The RVIPF congratulated Inspectors Lawrence and Avril on completing the course and commended their ongoing commitment to professional growth and excellence in service.
