(PLTM) - After close to two decades, triplets were born at the Dr. Orlando Smith (Peebles) Hospital, creating major buzz at the Territory’s main healthcare facility.

The three bothers, Ethan, Nathan and Jathan were born on August 6 to 37 year-old Shellene Daley.

In an interview with BVI Platinum News, the proud mother shared her enthusiasm about her new bundles of joy.

When asked how she felt when she first learnt that she was having triplets, she said, “At first when I realised, I went home and cried, but after I was very excited, happy; couldn't wait for the day for the delivery.”

The mom was not the only one with great expectations. BVI Platinum News was told that the babies’ two brothers and sister were excited to meet their new siblings. In fact, Shellene said that they could hardly wait.

As it relates to adjusting to dealing with three newborns, Shellene said that she is in mommy zone already. However, she did admit that there will be difficult days.

“To me it's a rough road; it's not gonna be easy. I am trying my best to adjust my self in order to take the best care of them," she said.
