(PLTM) - Premier and Minister of Finance, Hon. Andrew Fahie said that Cabinet has agreed to a shortened curfew period beginning Sunday, May 10.

He made the disclosure today, May 5 during the signing of an agreement for the North Sound Administration Building works which will be undertaken by Quality Construction.

According to the Premier, Cabinet Agreed yesterday, May 4 that the new curfew will be between 7 p.m and 6 a.m daily for 14 days, which will allow businesses to open for longer periods.

He stated that this has been made possible due to the aggressive contract tracing by public health officials, but reminded that the BVI is not 'out of the woods'.
