(PLTM) - Police have confirmed the death of one man following a shooting incident at a Hannah’s Estate residence.

Police Information Officer Diane Drayton said the gunshot victim had been identified as Earl ‘Bob’ Hodge. She further informed that the incident occurred at around 8 pm last night, February 9 2021.

“No one else was injured in the incident,” she said via a statement issued early Wednesday, February 10.

She added: “Police are asking persons who have information that can assist homicide detectives in their investigation to contact at RVIPF Intelligence Unit at 368-9339.”

The deceased is a well-known horse owner and was one of the men accused by the US of participating in a drug trafficking ring that transported cocaine via plane and boat from South America to the Caribbean, and parts of the United States. Local courts had ruled that Hodge should not be extradited to the United States to face charges there.
