(PLTM) - Twenty five (25) large bags of plastic and aluminum recyclables traveled from Anegada to Tortola for processing last week-end.

"This is a substantial increase in volume since the last shipment in May, despite the fact that schools and many businesses were closed over the summer," Green VI stated.

For six months, Outreach Officer Stephanie Faulkner, has kept the ball rolling for a greener Anegada with myriad projects and activities to motivate the community.

"It’s working! Thanks go out to all the folks on Anegada who are supporting WE RECYCLE and thanks also to Mr. Chalwell for helping things along with space on his barge. It takes a village," Green VI said.
