BVI Records Two More COVID-19 Casualties

(PLTM) - The British Virgin Islands has recorded two more casualties to the dreaded COVID-19 virus.

Ag. Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Dr. Ronald Georges revealed today, January 13, via an online forum, that the death toll now stands at 42.

He noted that one of the casualties was unvaccinated.

In the meantime, he informed that the COVID-19 infections are reducing.

He said there are now 1,305 active, positive COVID-19 cases in the territory, adding that more information will be released via the dashboard update later.

In the previous update issued on January 12, there were 1,387 cases.
