The RVIPF can confirm a drowning incident at Savannah Bay after 4 pm, March 31.
A 10-year-old girl was rescued from the waters and transported to Nurse Iris O'Neal Clinic where she was later pronounced dead.
Details surrounding this tragic incident are currently unknown.
RVIPF extends condolences to the family, and our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
