Jougo Wins 2026 Road March With ‘Street Parade’

Ova Drive placed second with ‘Shake It’, while Jougo’s ‘Go Crazy’ and ‘Twist’ tied for third place.

Raul ‘Jougo’ Sprauve, lead singer of VIBE, captured the 2026 Road March title with his latest popular hit, ‘Street Parade’, following the Virgin Islands Emancipation Festival’s August Monday Parade.

Ova Drive placed second with ‘Shake It’, while Jougo’s ‘Go Crazy’ and ‘Twist’ tied for third place.

The winners were announced last evening at the Lavida Cottoy Festiville, where the 2026 festival activities also came to an end.

For the parade, BVI Tribe won the Adult Troupe category, while Treasures Teens Guardians of the Reef – Parrot Fish took the Youth Troupe title. Kalíra: The Cultural Flame won the Individual category.

Other winners included Treasurers Little Guardians of the Reef – Lionfish in Cheerleading, Culture Bearers in Floupe, Shooting Stars Steel Orchestra in Floats, MEYAS Majorettes in Majorettes and Optimum Sky Dancers in Mocko Jumbies.

This year’s festival was held under the theme, “Culture Rising, Hearts Aligned, VI Festival, One of a Kind.”
