The Cyril B. Romney Tortola Pier Park came alive with local flavours, music and cultural displays on Friday, July 31, for the 2026 Virgin Islands Food Fair.

Held as part of the Emancipation Festival celebrations, the event showcased the Territory’s rich culinary heritage, with vendors serving traditional dishes such as fungi and fish, peas soup, roast corn, seafood, whelks and other local delicacies.

The day also offered a strong mix of cultural entertainment, including dancing, plait-pole demonstrations, Mocko Jumbies and performances by local and regional bands.
