Children attending the Agape Total Life Summer Camp recently received an interactive lesson on personal safety and the work of police officers.
According to the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF), officers from its Community Policing Unit used games, demonstrations and lively discussions to teach campers about kindness, honesty, courage and ways they can positively contribute to their communities.
K-9 Officer Paddy also made a special appearance and quickly became a favourite among the campers.
The RVIPF said the visit formed part of its continued investment in young people through community outreach, aimed at building trust, inspiring future leaders and reminding children that the police are there to protect, serve and support the community.
