Two Charged Over Rise And Shine Tramp Fight

Two men have been arrested and charged following a physical altercation during the Rise and Shine Tramp earlier this month.

The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) said the incident occurred on August 4, 2026, and subsequent investigations led to charges being laid against Raykoy Larch, 20, of Long Bush, and Makai Francis, 26, of Little Dix Hill.

Larch was charged with Wounding and Armed with an Offensive Weapon, while Francis was charged with Inflicting Grievous Bodily Harm.

The RVIPF reiterated its commitment to maintaining public safety and peace during public festivities.

Police said further enquiries into other public safety incidents that occurred during the festive season remain ongoing.
