Connection, conversation and community engagement took centre stage when the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force’s Community Policing Unit hosted an outreach initiative in East End on Friday, May 29.
According to the force, the event brought together police officers and residents for an evening of open dialogue and positive interaction aimed at strengthening relationships between law enforcement and the community.
Acting Commissioner of Police Jacqueline Vanterpool and Acting Deputy Commissioner of Police Kenrick Davis addressed participants, underscoring the importance of community policing, public trust and collaboration in crime prevention and the creation of safer communities.
